IP- UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell has called on the parties to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to spare no effort to protect children as the Gaza Strip has become the most dangerous place for children again.

Iran PressAmerica: "Today, Gaza is again the most dangerous place to be a child. And winter is on the doorstep. All parties to the conflict must do everything possible to protect the lives and well-being of all children no matter where they are. No more children should die in this conflict," she wrote on her X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance forces launched a surprise operation called Al-Aqsa Storm against Israeli positions, and the Israeli regime, to retaliate for its defeat and stop the resistance operations, has closed all the crossings of the Gaza strip and is bombarding this area.

At least 15,207 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 7. In Israel, the official death toll stands at about 1,200.

Nearly 6,000 of those who have been killed in Gaza so far are children
