Iran Press/ West Asia: Mohammad al-Hendi stated in the 'World Union of Resistance Ulema' conference that the Israeli regime is trying to remove the issue of Palestine and resistance through consecutive wars and control policy.
In the conference held in Beirut, Lebanon, al-Hendi said the Israeli regime protects the interests of the West in the region and the US supports the occupying regime under any circumstances.
"After five months of the war on Gaza, the Israeli regime has yet not been able to achieve its declared goals, therefore it launched a war to kill the defenseless people of Palestine," he noted.
The deputy head of PIJ also appreciated the Yemeni Ansarullah's supportive measures in hindering the ships carrying aid to the regime in the occupied territories through the Red Sea: "Anyone who confronts the Israeli regime today has achieved honor and greatness for them and the Islamic Ummah because the Israeli regime is the enemy of all countries in the region."
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Israeli war on Gaza has left more than 30,000 people martyred and over 27,000 others wounded since October 7.
Although the Israeli regime has confessed its failure, it still continues the war on the Gazan people.
The US-supported regime has made the situation even more catastrophic in Gaza by preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid and food in the city.
Israeli fighters bombed a truck, which belonged to the Kuwaiti association Takwin, carrying humanitarian aid to Deir al-Balah in central Gaza on Sunday.
The Palestinian Information Center stated that 8 Palestinians were martyred in the Israeli attack and a number of others were wounded.
Earlier on Thursday, at least 81 Palestinians waiting for food aid were killed and 250 wounded after Israeli troops opened fire on a huge crowd of people waiting for food aid southwest of Gaza City, as the besieged enclave faces an unprecedented hunger crisis.
