Iran Press/ Europe: Anne Genetet, chairwoman of the French-Iranian parliamentary friendship group, and François Cormier, a member of the French National Assembly, met with the Iranian ambassador Bahram Ghasemi at his residence in Paris in the morning (Tuesday).
During the meeting, the relations and cooperation between Iran and France Parliamentary friendship groups, bilateral relations, international developments, the oppressive sanctions of the United States, and the recent developments in the Security Council were discussed.
The Ambassador also explained the latest developments regarding the US unilateral policies and the repeated failures of the country following the opposition of the member states of the UN Security Council.
Bahram Ghasemi also responded to Anne Genotte and François Cormier's remarks on some human rights issues, noting that members of the French parliament should be the voice of the oppression and legitimacy of the great nation of Iran in the face of the arrogance and avarice of the US.
Also in the meeting, it was decided that due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the impossibility of movement and exchange of delegations, the heads of the parliamentary friendship groups of Iran and France will continue their contacts through video conference.
