Iran Press/West Asia: Former Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon stated that Israel is engaging in actions that could be classified as war crimes in Gaza, cautioning that soldiers traveling abroad should be wary as they might face potential arrest.
He added: "Releasing videos from inside Gaza by soldiers and officers will not help, because cabinet ministers will return to talking about evacuating Gaza and building settlements there, and this action is a war crime."
Ya'alon had previously considered the actions of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip to be war crimes.
These statements were made after Rai Al-Youm, referring to the new Israeli crisis, wrote: "The Israeli government is encountering a fresh and perilous challenge from numerous nations, including some of its allies, concerning the detention of soldiers and officers from the occupying army on allegations of war crimes in Gaza, as per the Hague Tribunal's judgment. This situation is further exacerbated by reports of an Israeli soldier fleeing Brazil following an investigation into war crimes, a similar incident that took place in another South American country."
The Israel Hayom newspaper wrote about this: "After the incident in Brazil, another complaint has been filed against an Israeli soldier in Argentina." According to the report, the soldier has been accused of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Reports suggest that in an unprecedented action, 620 members of the Chilean Bar Association, situated in the largest Palestinian community globally, have demanded swift measures against an Israeli soldier deployed in the southern Patagonia region of the country. They accused him of committing war crimes in Gaza and called for his immediate arrest.
The military has shared and proudly showcased images of the destruction of residential homes in the "Al-Nuseirat" camp in central Gaza on social media.
The Israeli media outlet Yedioth Ahronoth previously revealed that the regime's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar had held a meeting aimed at examining the phenomenon of arresting Israeli soldiers and officers outside the occupied territories on charges of committing war crimes.
