Iran Press/ Iran news: During a Forum on Preservation of Cultural Sites, Iran's foreign ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi stated: "That the most important actors in the international arena show behaviors based on their identities, backgrounds, beliefs, and ideologies. If we say that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the forerunner for dialogue between nations, if we see that the Islamic Republic of Iran offers a world free from violence and extremism, if Iran always insists on peace, dialogue and engagement with other countries of the world, especially its neighbors, these come from a very strong and solid background in which Iran has grown."
Mousavi further noted: "Unlike some of my friends, I was not surprised when Mr. Trump threatened to target 52 sites in Iran, including cultural and civic centers. That's because the US' history is perhaps not even one-twentieth of the seven-thousand-years old history of Iranian civilization."

Mousavi said: "Despite all the threats and pressures, the Foreign Ministry continues to follow the path of the Iranian nation, whose glorious history shows that it is a peace-loving nation. Iranians are a nation of dialogue, tolerance, and engagement, but are also brave and combatant.
"Martyred Lt. General Qasem Soleimani is a prominent example of the son of Iran. You saw how he was in the country and how he dealt with the enemies of this land or FM Zarif that diplomats and foreign officials regard him as a complete patriot," Mousavi added. 207
