Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Minister on Saturday met his Iraqi counterpart to stress Iran's commitment to Iraq's stability.

Iran Press/Iran News: In a tweeter message on Saturday, Mohammad Javad Zarif described the meeting with Fuad Hussein as 'good' and noted that expansion of ties and regional and international cooperation had been discussed.

He welcomed Iraq's constructive efforts for regional security and stressed Iran's commitment to the neighboring country's stability.

Zarif also rejected destabilizing US aggression against Iraqi forces.

The Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein arrived in Tehran on Saturday for a one-day visit.

This was his second visit to Iran in the past month.
