Iran Press/Iran News: Talking about how to deal with the avarice of the three European countries on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) issue, Kamal Kharrazi said: "They did not give up their mischief; They promised but did not act."
Much work was done to expand Iran-Europe relations, but little progress was made, and the Europeans' presence in Iran did not become permanent, he stated.
Kharrazi noted that Europeans had not come to Iran in the past for investment, economic participation, and serious work, stressing that the differences between Iran and Europe are rooted in the Islamic Republic of Iran's spirit of independence.
After the United States' illegal withdrawal from the nuclear deal and the explicit violation of JCPOA on May 8, 2018, Iran fulfilled its commitments in full in a one-year interaction beyond expectations.
During this period, the Europeans strongly insisted that Iran remains in JCPOA, promising not only that they would fulfill their obligations under the agreement but also to compensate for the losses caused by the US withdrawal from JCPOA; something that did not happen in practice.
