Iran Press/Africa: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency in Abidjan, Karim Hemmati stated that the Iranian medical center in Abidjan has been active since 2003 despite US sanctions, and in the near future, specialized, sub-specialized departments and medical services will be added to this medical center.
Hemmati noted that the Iranian medical center in Abidjan has always tried to provide good services to the clients, and if the relevant institutions cooperate, this medical center will be equipped with advanced equipment.
In order to visit Iran's medical centers in western Africa, Karim Hemmati, the Chief of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, has traveled to the region on an eight-day visit.
He is currently in the city of Abidjan in Ivory Coast. Then he is going to Sierra Leone and Ghana. The Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran exports drugs to the Ivory Coast and the West African region.
