It is worth mentioning that Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi was elected as the eighth President of Iran in the June 18th Presidential Election with about 18 million votes.

In his first words, he said: "The epic of the great Iranian nation on June 18, was following the epics of our dear people, and the great message for all the world was that the presence of the great nation of Iran, which had stood for hours queued for the ballot boxes, was despite some of the economic conditions of the great nation."

The administration will adhere to the promise made to the people

Raisi said: "This presence had different messages. One message was a message of national unity and solidarity. Second, the message of the Iranian nation was the message of the necessity of change in economic conditions and their lives. Finally, the message of the Iranian nation was the message of fighting against corruption, poverty and discrimination, and in a word, the implementation of justice in all aspects of their lives."

He noted: "The message of the Iranian nation was a message of insistence on the values of the glorious Islamic Revolution. The Iranian nation's message was a message to the continuation of the path of Ayatollah Khomeini and martyrs, especially that of martyr Soleimani. The Iranian people made the message with their own presence on the foundations of the Islamic Revolution and allegiance to the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the message to the people's government, and to all administrators and officials who will be the servant of the people in the name of the administration."

The president-elect stressed: "The administration will adhere to its promise made to the people. The promise is to try to serve the people and solve the problems."

He added: "We are confident that we trust God and the Iranian nation as well as the dense human force, especially the proud Iranian nation. The precious reserves our country enjoys will change the situation and conditions in the interests of the people."

Trust in God, people will bring an improvement to Iranians' living conditions

Raisi also pointed out that relying on God and trusting in the Iranian nation, especially the youth population, the situation will change in favor of the people.

The president-elect added: "Iran's domestic policy and our priorities in this administration would be to improve the people's business situation and improve their living conditions, which start from the bureaucracy that sometimes hinders many transformational measures in the country."

Raisi said: "These conditions must change, and a healthy, efficient and law-abiding administrative system will be formed by efficient and anti-corruption revolution forces in the country."

The president-elect emphasized: "With respect to all the services that different administrations have provided after the revolution, there is no doubt that the country has been provided with many services."

Raisi said: "In these 40 years, we have witnessed a lot of efforts and measures for the country's development, but despite all the efforts that administrations have made so far and we have achieved excellent position and peaks in some areas, but, still, in some areas, due to lack of attention, mismanagement, and lack of attention to the many resources that the country had, the problems will be solved with the efficient youth force that can be the source of many changes in the country".

US, EU must return to JCPOA commitments

Iran’s president-elect stated: "The United States and European countries must return to their commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)."

We will seek broad and balanced engagement with all countries of the world, and foreign policy will not be limited to the JCPOA, he added.
