Iran Press/Iran news: "The enemies’ pressures have made the Islamic Revolution more powerful," said Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Hossein Salami adding that the pressures have had no effect other than raising the morale and motivation of the Iranian nation for building the country, making further progress, and becoming more independent and self-sufficient."
"We are a united nation with a strong will and great leadership," the top commander added in a speech in the northern city of Aq Qala in Golestan Province on Thursday, Iran Press reported.
The US has ratcheted up pressure on Iran since last year after withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Since then, the administration of US President Donald Trump is trying to reduce Iran’s oil exports to 'zero', and has sent an aircraft carrier strike group, a bomber squad, an amphibious assault ship, and a Patriot missile battery to the Middle East to try to stack up pressure on Tehran under the policy of 'Maximum Pressure'. 205/208/203
