Tehran (IP) - Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian has said that new projects in Tehran's utility industry will serve two million people.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the opening ceremony of 27 projects in Tehran's utility industry, Reza Ardakanian said on Tuesday that 133 projects have been inaugurated across Iran during the recent campaign, out of which 27 belong to Tehran.

The Iranian official noted that 10,600 villages in Iran have been connected to the freshwater network.

"These projects will cover two million people in Tehran," he added.

In a ceremony attended by President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday, 27 projects in Tehran Province's utility industry were simultaneously inaugurated. 104/207
