Iran Press/Iran News: It is hoped that the debris will lead the search teams to the exact spot where the fighter jet crashed into the mountainside, local authorities in Ardebil Province confirmed on Thursday.
Adverse weather conditions and long winter nights have delayed the search operations which aim to locate the wreckage of the aircraft and determine the fate of the pilot.
Air Force and Red Crescent helicopters are resuming their search operations and an investigation into the cause of the crash has already started, authorities have confirmed.
