Iranian commander:

Tehran (IP)- The Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said that if a nation wants to pursue its goals in the face of threats, it needs a strong culture and spirit.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking on the sidelines of the 102nd session of the Policy Council of the Rahian-e Noor, Major General Mohammad Bagheri emphasized that the threats are sophisticating day by day and they endanger our people.

Rahian-e Noor is a group of religious and political caravans which travel between visiting zones in the south and southwestern Iran to commemorate Iranian efforts and lives lost in the Iran–Iraq War.

Referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh war and Russia special operation in Ukraine, he said: "In recent months, there have been two wars around us, in each of which one side has asked for help and fighters, but during the Sacred Defense, the people Iran single-handedly defended the country against a well-equipped enemy."

He said Rahian-e Noor is not just propaganda but one of the most important, obvious, and effective methods to elevate the youth spirit of resistance.  

Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces said: "This year, by controlling the spread of the coronavirus and the agreement of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, it became possible to conduct tour of Rahian-e Noor in accordance with health protocols."
