Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance says that 5 million people are estimated to visit the International Quran Exhibition to be held in Tehran.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad-Mahdi Esmaili told Iran Press on Wednesday that the Gaza section will have a special place in the event this year.

Since October 7 and the Israeli regime war on Gaza, more than 31,000 Palestinian people have been martyred 70 percent of whom are women and children, amidst the famine the war has brought for the defenseless people

Children and teenagers are to be the pivotal part of the international Quranic exhibition event, with the servant of the Quran will be honored in the presence of Iran's President, added Esmaili.  

The Iranian minister called the cultural status of the country improving, despite the soft sedition that happened in 2022.

To explain the improvement, he highlighted film and cinema as the areas in which spectacular success was observed in recent years.   

"Cinema has reached an income of 1,300 billion tomans in the current Persian year from about 400 billion tomans last year."

The minister also reported the approval of the music document in the country. 219
