Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Almaalomah, Mohammed al-Baldawi, a member of the Iraqi parliament said on Tuesday: "the United States is plotting to overthrow Hashdal al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Units) from inside Iraq and limit its role."
Al-Baldawi stated that there are signs of US soft Coup d'etat in Iraq and action against Iraqi security agencies, adding that the US government supports terrorism in Iraq and around the world, and even in its own country to suppress its people.
In addition to a direct confrontation with the Iraqi resistance forces, the United States has activated the option of intensifying the security atmosphere against them, in order to completely dismantle Hashd al-Shabi from the Iraqi political scene.
