Coronavirus claims lives of 226 Iranians in past 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 226 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 88,063.

Iran PressIran News: According to the latest data, the total number of COVID-19 patients in Iran reached 3,623,840, of which 3,204,136 have recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 20,313 cases, out of whom 2,287 patients were hospitalized.

4,628 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU). 

So far, 25,332,080 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran. 

According to the latest analysis, 232 cities are red, 117 are orange, and 99 are yellow zones.
