Iran Press/ Iran News: Elham Asghari managed to pull a kayak for 5 kilometers while swimming and set new a record of 1 hour and 58 minutes, and 40 seconds (1:58:40).
Asghari has so far broken several records formerly registered for the men, including the 10 km swimming with one hand in open waters, which was completed within 4 hours and 58 minutes, thus breaking Theodor Tesotkov of Bulgaria.
Asghari also set a new standard for long-distance swimming while wearing handcuffs, breaking the record not once but twice.
