Iran PressIran News: Behrooz Kamalvandi told ILNA that contact between Iran and the IAEA is underway and the inspectors are supposed to inspect sites.

60% enrichment in Fordow, a response to IAEA BoG resolution

Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi described the 60% enrichment in Fordow nuclear facilities as a response to the IAEA Board of Governors' previous resolution.

In the past, as a result of the JCPOA, we had fifteen reports from the IAEA, showing that Iran had not violated its obligations, Kamalvandi said.

Europeans used to criticize the US in their statements for withdrawing from the JCPOA, but now they speak as if Iran is responsible for the current situation, he added.

He also considered Rafael Grossi's trip to Iran as good and in line with further cooperation.
