London (IP)- The glorious ceremony for the birthday anniversary of Imam Mahdi (AS) was held at the Islamic Center of England in London.

Iran PressEurope: In the glorious celebration of Imam Mahdi's Birthday anniversary which is believed will come and spread worldwide justice, the Faithful people who are waiting for the advent of His Holiness from different walks of life and from various nationalities, attended the ceremony with large and numerous presentations in the Islamic Center of England and congratulated each other on this auspicious occasion.

The panegyrists of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) also added to the joy and happiness of those present in this ceremony by singing on the birthday anniversary of Qaim Al-Muhammad (Imam Mahdi's nickname) in Persian, Arabic, and English languages.

In addition to Iranians living in London and British Muslims, a number of Muslims from other countries, especially Iraqi, Afghan, Pakistani, Indian, Lebanese, Kuwaiti, and Bahraini Muslims, were present at this ceremony.

Mid-Sha'ban ("night on the half of Sha'ban") is a Muslim holiday in which Twelver Shia Muslims commemorate the birthday of Muhammad al-Mahdi (the last of the Twelve Imams and the eschatological Mahdi, who will emerge at the end of time to establish peace and justice and redeem Islam), on this date.
