Iran Press/ Iran News: Today, Wednesday, a group of people, including university students and social activists, held gatherings in front of the UN Office in Tehran.
They carried placards in condemnation of the UN's contradictory behaviors in addressing women's rights in Iran and called it an example of the West's double standards with regard to women.
Press TV's documentarist and journalist Marzieh Hashemi said in the gathering: "When only five countries possess the right of veto in the UN Security Council, we do not see justice from the UN and we should not believe the lies of the western media."
She said that the UN had never been seeking justice.
The French satellite company Eutelsat cut the network a few weeks after the European Union imposed sanctions against the English-speaking news channel Press TV.
