Akhgar Gatling gun

Iran Army Ground Forces unveiled the engineering and experimental samples of its multi-barreled Gatling gun under the name 'Akhgar' some years ago.

This Iranian weapon has a 7.62 mm caliber and 6 barrels.

Its maximum firing rate is 4,000 to 5,000 rounds per minute, and its final range is more than 1,000 meters.

An electric motor provides its rotating power.

The complete construction, production, and use of the 6-barrel weapon was an excellent introduction to developing a larger-caliber version for ground and air defense, especially for naval vessels.

The 12.7 mm Gatling gun 'Moharram' was unveiled on April 18, 2014.

This weapon can be used on land, air, and sea.
