Tehran (IP) - Iran's President says the country was connected to Asia's economic infrastructure through its official membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Iran PressIran News: In his televised interview on Wednesday night, Ebrahim Raisi said that the members of SCO have a significant part of the world's population and the world's economy, and Iran's economic relations with the countries have a great contribution to the Iranian economic development.

Raisi pointed to his meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and said Iran has cooperation with Russia in different areas, including oil and energy and transit (North-South Corridor) as well as aerospace cooperation.

With regard to his trip to Tajikistan, the president said that Iran's trade relations with the country have increased up to six times compared to the previous year.

Iran demands a reliable guarantee in nuclear negotiations 

The President of Iran emphasized the reliable guarantee and settlement of safeguard issues in order to prevent the western side from violating the nuclear deal again and issuing a resolution against Iran under the political excuses of safeguard.

Iran's President Seyed Ebrahim Raeesi, in a live TV interview with the public on Wednesday night, in response to a question about the nuclear negotiation, referring to his recent meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, said: "In this meeting, resolving safeguard issues and permanently removing sanctions with the possibility of economic benefit for the Iranian people have been emphasized."
