The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amirabdollahian stated that Tehran is ready to provide any assistance to Lebanon, despite the difficult economic conditions it is facing.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Al-Manar News Network on Saturday, Hossein Amirabdollahian emphasized Iran's continued support for Lebanon and its sovereignty.

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic further emphasized that his meeting with Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, was "fruitful and constructive" and that Iran also uses Nasrallah's views in regional issues.

He called Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah the greatest national leader inside Lebanon and said: "Iranian officials always meet with Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and they use his deep insights on regional issues while emphasizing the importance of regional dialogue and regional development." 

On Friday, the Iranian Foreign Minister met with the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the two sides discussed the latest political developments in Lebanon and the region.

During a meeting with Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian stressed the stability of Iran's position towards Lebanon and supporting this country in all fields.

Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, also pointed out that Iran has proven to be a sincere ally and loyal friend who does not leave his friends alone; so, he thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for standing by the government and the nation and the Lebanese resistance for decades. 219
