A 4.2 magnitude earthquake shook the Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province early on Tuesday.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, quoting the National Seismological Center affiliated to the Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran, the epicenter of the quake was 18 km at 8 km depth northwest of Tabriz.

The quake occurred on 3:13 am local time at a latitude of 46.2°E and a longitude of 38.22°N.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.

The earthquake was felt in Tabriz city as the center of the province and most parts of the province including  Marand, Ahar, Ajab Shir, and Bonab.
