Iran's Dayyer Port exports 1st carnet TIR cargo

Bushehr (IP) - The Governor of Bushehr's Dayyer Port, southern Iran, announced the export of the first transit cargo through Carnet TIR to the Persian Gulf.

Iran PressIran news: "For the first time, a shipment of goods from Turkey to Qatar was carried out through Carnet TIR from Dayyer Port," Karim Alihassani said on Friday.

Hassanali noted that obtaining the privilege was of paramount importance to facilitate the trades and export, as well as to save time and cost.

"Over 264 tons of goods were exported through carnet TIR from Dayyer Port," he said. 

Dayyer Port is located 180 km south of Bushehr province.
