Tehran (IP): Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade said that the policy of the Ministry is to support Iranian automakers.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Alireza Razm Hosseini stated today at the opening ceremony of auto spare parts production lines: The situation has become more suitable for economic activity in Iran, and this year, which is the year of the surge in production, we have increased production in more than 20 industries.

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran said: The private sector in Iran has invested nearly 1000 billion Tomans in the car industry so if foreign automakers interested in, they can be a part."

"The policy of the Ministry is to support Iranian products and we will support all car companies," he highlighted.

Also, Ezatollah Akbari, the head of the Industries Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, said on the sidelines of the ceremony: "Iranian car managers should be given a chance and the obstacles should be removed. The private sector should also be given the opportunity to promote products."

Ezatollah Akbari added: "Currently, 30 private companies in the automotive industry have been established and they will export the products."

"The private sector in Iran has the ability to produce high-quality cars that can compete with foreign cars," Iran's minister claimed without elaborating.
