Iran Press/Iran news: According to the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), "Alireza Faghani", an Iranian football referee who was previously selected as the best referee in Asia in 2020, was ranked 19th among the top referees of the last decade.
Among the Asian referees, there are only two on the list, Faghani of Iran and Ravshan Irmatov of Uzbekistan. German referee Felix Brych was named the world's best referee in the last decade (2010 to 2020).
