Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, on Monday said that Trump insists on substituting power for international norms. Countries must either obey and submit to this power, or it will wage war against them. This international chaos will ultimately make them regret their actions and will come back to haunt them.
Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council added: Iran will not bow to empty talk about surrender. What business is it of the United States and the West to comment on the range of our missiles?
It is now completely clear that the nuclear issue was nothing but a pretext, a pretext for hostility toward the Iranian nation. Even now, after this war, they say discussions must take place about missiles, their range, and Iran’s regional role. This approach clearly shows that the U.S. and the West are pursuing domination; otherwise, what right do they have to express opinions about the range of Iranian missiles? Would they accept it if we said that as long as Europe possesses missiles and nuclear weapons, it must be ready for war with us?
Iran neither seeks domination nor submits to hollow words about surrender
Ali Larijani said: This is precisely where two mindsets diverge: one follows the logic of power and domination, even regarding the East and China, with suspicion and arrogance. And the other seeks balanced relations. Iran neither seeks domination nor submits to hollow words about surrender.
Larijani added: The Leader was in contact with every field commander during the 12-day war.In the early days of the war, military pressure and extensive propaganda were designed to demoralize the people. The enemy entered the war with certain goals but realized within a few days that it had made a mistake. The Supreme Leader, with strength and inner confidence, spoke to the people and neutralized the enemy’s promises. He was monitoring the battlefield moment by moment and issuing necessary directives. He personally spoke with each field commander.
