Children were dressed in special clothes for this day, while scholars narrate the virtues and sufferings of the Ahl Al-Bayt, especially the martyrdom of Ali Asghar (A), when the infant son of Imam Hussain (A.S) was martyred by arrows instead of providing him with water after several days of thirst.
On this occasion, prayers are also offered and mothers lift their children and pledge that they are ready to present their children to the Imam-e-Zamana at any moment. On this occasion, participants are also taken to visit a special cradle prepared in memory of Ali Asghar (A) and the symbolic shrine of Abolfazl Abbas (A).
Expressing her views with Iran Press, the organizer of this gathering, Masoumeh Kazemi, said that like all over the world, mothers here too are participating with their innocent children and vow to make their children soldiers of Imam E Zaman. She said that if the world understands the philosophy of Ali Asghar’s martyrdom, then the oppression of innocent children in Gaza can also be stopped.
Renowned scholar Rida Bukhari said that Karbala is a story of sacrifices. Allah Almighty sent a ram in place of Hazrat Ismail (A), but in the battlefield of Karbala, the Prophet’s family was informed that they had to sacrifice everything, even little Ali Asghar (A) was sacrificed.
On this occasion, the women who participated with their children said that their children are taught the love of Hussain (A.S) and the descendants of Imam Hussain (A) from this age, and this love and affection continues to increase with time. The women said that they dress their children in special green clothes today and pay tribute to the eternal sacrifice of little Ali Asghar (A).
