2 Iranian women shine in WCC-West Asia exhibition

Tehran (IP)- Two women from Kerman and Bushehr won the top title in the virtual exhibition of the World Crafts Council-West Asia Region's exhibition.

Iran PressIran news: Referring to the holding of a virtual handicrafts exhibition by the World Crafts Council (WCC), Pouya Mahmoudian, the deputy cultural heritage, handicrafts, and tourism minister said on Saturday: "Parvin Abazari, a 36-year-old artist from Sirjan in Shiriki Pich Kilims, and Fatemeh Shakeri, a 23-year-old artist from Bushehr province, won the top rank in the field of Aba Bafi in the exhibition."

Sirjan city, in Kerman province, has been registered as the world city of Shiriki Pich Kilims, and Bahiri village of Bushehr has been registered as the national village of Aba Bafi.
