Iran Press/Asia: In Islamabad, the Save Gaza Campaign members in a gathering on Friday evening, declared the ceasefire agreement as a defeat for the Israeli regime and a victory for Palestine.
Children also participated in the event along with elders, while the participants held the Palestinian flag and placards for a call to boycott Israeli products.
Addressing the participants, the campaign’s patron, former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, said that the oppressive Israeli regime is finally defeated and the ceasefire is based on Hamas’ demands. He said that now it is the responsibility of the world, especially Muslim countries, to participate in the reconstruction of Palestine.
A student, while talking to Iran Press, said, "During the campaign for Gaza, our personality, thinking, and perception have changed. We think globally now. We celebrated today because the children and people of Gaza were hiding and seeing the sun after a long time. We stand by them and understand their emotions, feelings, and faith, so we will stand by them forever."
Addressing the participants, Save Gaza Campaign team lead Humaira Tayyaba, advocate Abdul Jabbar Abbasi and others said that the world should officially recognize Hamas and ensure the reconstruction of Gaza and access to aid convoys.
Former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, who became the voice of the oppressed people of Gaza in Pakistan, while expressing his thoughts with Iran Press said: "This is a victory, I congratulate the people of Palestine, Gaza, Hamas, and people across the globe who support the Palestinian cause and condemned the genocide. Gaza is now an agent of change and has become the platform for the Liberation of Palestine and Al-Quds. It will influence the Muslim world, especially the Arab World, and reinforce the revolutionary movements. Pakistan and the Muslim world should recognize Hamas as an elected government as this will help for the reconstruction of Gaza and OIC should also give a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza".
On this occasion, the participants also offered prayers of thanks for the safety of Palestinian Muslims and the restoration of life for them.
