A group of Zionist settlers attacked Palestinian homes in al-Khalil, a Zionist-occupied area in the south of the West Bank.

Iran PressMiddle East: About 20 Zionist settlers raided Palestinian homes on al-Shuhada Street in the center of al-Khalil yesterday evening, according to human rights activist Badi al-Dawik.

He stated that the settlers threw stones at the houses of the Palestinians and one of the Zionists beat a Palestinian woman in her house.

The human rights activist added that the Zionist soldiers accompanied these settlers during the attack on the Palestinians without the slightest reaction (to the Zionist violence). These attacks are very frequent in this area.

The Palestinian National Authority has not yet commented on the incident.

Since 1994, the authorities of the occupying regime have closed al-Shuhada Street, and the movement of settlers has been banned there.

About 400 Zionist settlers live in illegal settlements in al-Khalil and are guarded by about 1,500 Israeli soldiers.
