Tehran (IP) - The Chief of the Red Crescent Society of Iran, Karim Hemmati expressed Tehran’s readiness to assist Beirut over its deadly explosion.

Iran Press/Iran news: Following the deadly explosion in Beirut, which killed and injured a large number of Lebanese people, the Chief of the Red Crescent Society of Iran Karim Hemmati, in a message to the Chief of the Red Cross of Lebanon expressed his sympathy with the people of this country and announced Iran’s readiness to assist Beirut.

Lebanon is in mourning after a massive explosion ripped through Beirut’s port on Tuesday killing more than 70 people and injuring 4,000.

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has voiced sympathy with Lebanese nation over the massive deadly explosion of Beirut.
