Iran Press/America: In a press conference in Baltimore on Friday morning, the US president claimed that Iran is eager to deal with him because its economy is crashing; but he went on saying that he is willing to have a deal with Iran too.
According to Iran Press report, Donald Trump said he believes Iran would like to make a deal because “they have tremendous financial difficulty, and the sanctions are getting tougher and tougher.”

Earlier on Wednesday, asked about easing up some sanctions against Iran on the verge of his possible meeting with Hassan Rouhani, Trumps signaled his openness about the idea, but said 'We'll see what happens'.
It's also said that US President Donald Trump is actively considering a French plan to extend a $15 billion line of credit to Iran in return for Iran’s compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal. Trump also repeatedly reiterated that his administration is not seeking regime change in Iran.
Separately, Rouhani said Tehran would not negotiate with Washington while sanctions on his country are still being enforced by Washington.
“The Americans must understand that bellicosity and warmongering don’t work in their favor. Both… must be abandoned,” Rouhani told his cabinet earlier Wednesday.
"Iran's policy of resistance will not change as long as our enemy continues to put pressure on Iran," Rouhani added.
On the other hand, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin says no plan for Trump to meet Iran’s Rouhani at this time and even after former national security adviser John Bolton, the US keeps on its so-called 'maximum pressure' policy against Iran.
"As of now, there is no plan for the president to meet with him, although the president has said that he is prepared to meet with no conditions,” Mnuchin said in his interview with an American news network.
“Secretary Pompeo, I and the rest of the national security team are executing on a maximum pressure strategy with Iran,” Mnuchin said. “There’s no question that it’s working. We have cut off their money. And that’s the reason why if they do come back to the negotiating table, they are coming back.”
Iran has denounced US strategy against it as an 'economic terrorism' and the US secretary of treasury said that the US strategy toward Iran is similar to the one the Republican president is taking toward trade talks with China.
Twelve months on from the US pullout, Iran began taking steps back from the deal and these steps have worried the west; even the US that has illegally and unilaterally withdrew from the deal expressed its anxiety.
The Iranian president has said that "If agreements with Europe are finalized, we’re ready to return to JCPOA commitments, and a meeting between Iran and the 5+1 is only possible when sanctions are lifted". 101/212
