Commemoration of Lt.Gen. Soleimani in Bangladesh

Dhaka (IP) - Commemoration ceremony of martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis was held in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, on Friday.

Iran Press/Asia: The ceremony was held after Friday prayers, attended by Iran's ambassador to Dhaka Mohammad Reza Nafar, as well as a number of Iranians residing in Dhaka and Shia Muslims in Bangladesh.

Earlier, commemoration ceremonies were held in honor of martyred Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani in various countries all over the world.

The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi officials, was assassinated by the US drone attack in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis as well as eight companions.
