Aleppo (IP) - With the commencement of the New Year (2023), the Christians of Aleppo in northern Syria are celebrating in churches.

The cultural curator of the church tells IranPress that all parts of the church are ready for the New Year celebrations.

Cooking is done in one room, sweets and edibles are prepared, and in another room, Santa Claus receives all the guests, and the third room is Santa Claus's office, where he makes beautiful clothes for children and gives them gifts.

Aleppo has 12 churches that host Christians these days.

On December 14, 2016, the city of Aleppo in northern Syria was completely freed from the occupation of the ISIS terrorist group with the help of Lt. Gen. martyr Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the resistance front.
