Iran Press/ Iran News: Chang Hua, the Chinese ambassador to Iran, Mohammad Khazaei the Head of the Cinema Organization, and some Iranian cinema and cultural managers participated in the opening of the China Film Week at the Abbas Kiarostami Memorial Hall of the FCF.
"Iran and China have magnificent and ancient civilization, Iranian films have participated and shined well in Chinese film festivals, and also Chinese films have their roots in ancient civilization," Chang Hua added.
Mahdi Javadi, the CEO of FCF, said that China's ancient culture with its moral aspects and spiritual roots, has created deep similarities between Iranian and Chinese cultures.
China Film Week in Tehran continues for five days from the 6th to the 10th of May 2023, and movie-goers can get to know the Chinese cinema industry by attending this cultural event.
