Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian parliament said that the United States has tried to stop the sale of Iranian oil to China, but China does not coordinate its economic relations with the United States.

Iran PressAsia: Referring to the reports that the United States is trying to stop the sale of Iranian oil to China, Mahmoud Abbaszadeh-Meshkini said: "The United States does not rule the whole world, which will not be possible in practice."

The spokesman for Iran's parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission told Iran Press that China is an economic power that will go ahead of the United States in economic rankings, as evidenced by international indicators, and this will happen in 2025.

Abbaszadeh-Meshkini said: "Iran is not a small and closed country, the population of Iran's neighboring countries is about 600 million and a country like Iran with a population of 80 million can not be besieged and sanctioned and US President Joe Biden should think more about his behavior."

He added that Iranian people believe that the United States is not trustworthy and does not adhere to its commitments under international agreements such as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
