Iran Press/ Iran News: Hossein Amirabdollahian wrote on his personal Twitter page on Friday that although the ceasefire in Yemen is good, holding the truce by Saudis which lasts for a couple of days with forces rebuilding to continue the war and killing is not the solution.
The Saudi-led Arab Coalition officially announced a two-week ceasefire in Yemen on Thursday morning.
However, despite the announcement of the ceasefire and the identification of the first case of the novel Coronavirus outbreak in Yemen, attacks by the Saudi coalition continue and at least two Yemeni citizens have been killed in Saudi attacks since Thursday 9 April.
Many Yemeni officials have expressed doubts about Saudi Arabia's intentions in this regard, believing that this is a new tactic so that the invading Saudi coalition aggression can use it to renew its forces and compensate for its recent losses.
Saudi-led aggression against Yemen since March 2015, in addition to killing thousands of civilians and destroying infrastructure, has led to a severe shortage of food and medicine in the war-torn country.
