Iran Press/ Iran News: The candidate for the 13th presidential election in Iran said that the most important valuable work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is economical and trade relations.
Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi told reporters on Thursday after recording a TV program at IRIB that the Foreign Ministry has an important role in pursuing economic diplomacy. In this context, Iranian embassies in other countries should be places of commerce and economic exchanges of Iranian business people.
Ghazizadeh Hashemi noted that the foreign minister would be an international businessman in the "Salam government," especially in exports. Such a person could play an important role in the development of Iran's export economic exchanges.
He also added about the "Government of Salam" (his government if wins the election) plan to reform banking and financial affairs, that the improvement of the current situation of banks is related to the reduction of their finance.
Mohsen Rezaei, another candidate for the 13th presidential election in Iran, said that one of the most important plans of his government is to "take action and change" to save the Iranian economy from the monopoly of banks and the independence of the central bank.
The candidate for the 13th presidential election in Iran stated that the central bank should not depend on the government and that international banking standards should be applied in the Iranian banking system.
Mohsen Rezaei stated that the money collected in banks should be injected into the competitive market, not that banks want to do whatever they want with people's money.
