Iran Press/Iran News: Pomegranate, Common medlar, persimmon, tangerine, and orange are among the fruits that show the arrival of autumn in Gilan province, northern Iran.
It is worth mentioning that Gilan is one of the centers of sour and sweet pomegranate production in Iran and an average of 3,420 tons of pomegranate is produced annually in this province.
Pomegranate gardens are scattered in all different areas of Gilan province, especially forested and mountainous areas. Sour pomegranate is commonly used in Gilani dishes and olive seasonings.
Gilan province, in addition to various natural attractions for tourists and nature lovers, is a producer of various agricultural products.
