Iran Press/Asia: Nikol Pashinyan in a speech in the country's parliament on Wednesday said that Yerevan would continue talks with Tehran to expand political and economic cooperation, referring to his recent meeting with the Iranian President.

The Armenian prime minister said that the continuation of Yerevan's cooperation with Tehran is logical, stating that the two countries want to cooperate with each other.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met Tuesday in Yerevan on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union in Yerevan, and stressed the importance of enhancing the level of Tehran-Yerevan relations and cooperation.
Iran and Armenia have good political relations, and in recent years, various programs have been put in place to expand cultural, economic, commercial cooperation and increase the volume and value of trade between the two countries.
