Iran Press/ West Asia: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, upon his arrival in Beirut, addressing the reporters, said: "After four months of the Zionist regime's crimes against Palestine, Tel Aviv could not achieve any of its goals."
Iran's top diplomat added: "What we are witnessing was achieved by the grace of God and the resistance of Palestine, Lebanon and the region, and the leaders of the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon behaved wisely in politics and action."
Amir-Abdollahian emphasized: "We told the US not to support the Zionists in the genocide in the Gaza Strip, and we loudly announced from the beginning of the crisis that war is not the solution."
He stated that the continuation of the US support for the Zionist regime would not bring any results and the Israeli regime seeks to pull the US into the swamp of war in West Asia.
Amir-Abdollahian pointed out that Hezbollah and the resistance played their role as a deterrent force, adding: "We salute all the martyrs of the resistance and the Palestinian and Lebanese martyrs."
In the end, he said: "Iran will continue its strong support to the resistance and Lebanon, emphasizing that the security of Lebanon is the security of the region."
Iran's Foreign Minister left Tehran for Beirut today, Friday, as the first destination of his regional trip.
Meeting with Lebanese officials regarding regional and international issues is one of the objectives of Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian's trip.
