Iran Press/ Middle East: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who traveled to the United Arab Emirates, met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the head of UAE, and exchanged views on various issues of bilateral relations in political, economic, commercial, cultural and consular dimensions.
While expressing satisfaction with the development of relations between the two countries, the parties agreed on coordination, planning and joint action to promote bilateral cooperation, especially in the commercial and economic fields.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran and the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates also discussed the use of initiatives to strengthen regional cooperation within the framework of the common interests of the countries and nations of the region.
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on the fourth and last destination of his regional trip to the Persian Gulf countries, arrived at the Abu Dhabi airport and was formally welcomed by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State within the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC).
Before the United Arab Emirates, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed the development of bilateral interactions and cooperation by visiting Qatar, Oman and Kuwait and meeting with the officials of these countries.
