Tehran(IP): Iran's Foreign Minister congratulated his Brazilian counterpart on Brazil's National Day; Relations between Tehran and Brazil have a history of 117 years.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran press news agency on Friday, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a message to Brazil's Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, published on X social network.

While congratulating Brazil's National Day, Iran's FM expressed hope that due to Brazil's special position in BRICS and Iran's full membership in this group, the long-standing relations between the two countries will expand even more in all political and commercial fields.

Relations between Tehran and Brazil have a history of 117 years, and Iran was the first country to reopen its embassy in the new capital of Brazil in 1960(Brasília).
