Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on Wednesday at a cabinet meeting, President Rouhani said: "The basis of Iran's work is cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, but the IAEA must maintain its independence and must not deviate from its legal path under pressure from the United States and the Zionist regime.”
"Iran is still ready to accept the legal monitoring of the IAEA and to cooperate with it within the framework of the law," he added.
The United States withdrew from the nuclear deal, JCPOA in May 2018, reimposing sanctions lifted under it, along with enacting new penalties in what the Trump administration has called a 'maximum pressure' campaign against Iran.
