Iran Press/ Iran news: Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani said in a telephone conversation with Hamadullah Moheb, National Security Advisor to the President of Afghanistan, "I congratulate the agreement reached between Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah as an important step in creating stability and establishing a strong government in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.”
Shamkhani noted that the start of comprehensive inter-Afghan talks could be another necessary step in preserving the achievements of the great people of Afghanistan, including the republicanism and the constitution.
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council said that the United States, ignoring the interests of Afghanistan, is pursuing an unacceptable path in its political activities.
Shamkhani added: "Iran is ready to provide health and medical assistance to the Afghan brothers and sisters for free as in the past."
Hamdallah Moheb, National Security Advisor to the President of Afghanistan, said: "We appreciate the decisive role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the agreement reached between Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah and we will not allow the warm and cordial relations between the two friendly and brotherly countries to be affected."
