Iran Press/ Iran news: The head of the Islamic unity political party of Afghanistan and a prominent Afghan cleric, Mohammad Muhaqqiq, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday, has called on Muslims to defend the city of Al-Quds, the first Qibla (or direction of prayer) of Muslims.
Commenting on the situation in Yemen, Muhaqqiq said that the same people who are attacking the innocent people of Yemen are also helping the Zionist regime and betraying the Palestinian cause.
The head of the Islamic unity political party of Afghanistan went on to emphasize that the weapons used for the past three-and-a-half years to kill the innocent people of Yemen, are essentially the same weapons that the Israeli army is using to kill innocent Palestinians.
Muhaqqiq said that American manufactured weaponry is used in both cases, and the origin of the weapons are the same.
The top Afghan cleric added: "The same people who are committing terrible war crimes in Yemen, are talking about a shameful peace process with the Zionists. They even brazenly say that we should forget about Palestinians and the Palestinian cause!!" 211/ 104
