Abu Ali Sina Foundations of Iran and Uzbekistan held a meeting on Sunday in Tehran, hosted by Eco Cultural Institute.

Iran Press/Middle East: This meeting was held about  Abu Ali Sina’s life, discussing different dimensions of his personality along with his extensive knowledge in medicine and philosophy.

 

 

In the ceremony, Taha Mohammadi, the head of the Buali Sina Scientific and Cultural Foundation, called Ibn Sina's mystical dimension one of the most valuable aspects of his personality.

Mohammadi said that during his trips to China, Germany, Austria, Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Islamic countries, Buali Sina was introduced as the first ambassador of the knowledge and teachings of the Holy Quran.

 

 

Also, the Uzbek ambassador to Iran, Bahadur Abdullah Yuv, said that the history of the ancestors of Iran and Uzbekistan is one of the commonalities between the two countries, and it plays an essential role in the development of scientific and cultural relations between the two countries.

He added that with the visit of the President of Iran to Uzbekistan, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Buali Sina Foundations of the two countries, which created an excellent opportunity to study the life and works of Sheikh Al Rais.

Also, for the first time after 20 years, the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Iran last month led to various negotiations and cooperation, including cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two countries.
