Iran Press/Middle East: The circumstances surrounding the incident on Tuesday were not immediately clear, but there were reports it also included at least one stabbing victim.
Meanwhile, after midnight bombardments by the Israeli military and daily ground attacks at the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied west bank which led to the killing of 10 Palestinians, approximately 3,000 Palestinians have fled the Jenin refugee camp.
Hamas praised the attack, a statement by the militant group’s spokesman Abdel Latif Al-Kanoa said. Hamas did not directly claim responsibility for the attack.
“The heroic operation of Tel Aviv is the beginning of the response to the aggression of the Zionist occupation on Jenin,” Al-Kanoa said.
